Spencer Channell is a composer & screenwriter based in Los Angeles.

A recipient of Interlochen Arts Academy’s Young Artist award, he grew up accompanying musical theater in Columbus, Ohio. His ability to play piano by ear made him a sought-after sight-reader and music director in New York City.

Spencer’s world-class music education informs his sharp intuition for composing memorable themes. He specializes in orchestral scores whose clarity and specificity portray nuanced characters and rich story worlds.

As a young screenwriter, he used to gather childhood friends to shoot short films; in recent years, he’s been running indie writers rooms. His produced work has won awards at local and international festivals, and he’s always writing something new.

His hobbies include cooking, hiking, gaming, travel, photography, making candles, building computers, and sitting in traffic on Cahuenga.
