"I was simply blown away by...the eloquent writing, simple reading that was so true to life, production, music, you name it. I hope you will be able to produce more."
In August 2015, Spencer wrote, recorded, edited, and released the first episode of Run With That, an original podcast to share stories by and about young adults. As he collaborated with others on subsequent episodes, Run With That evolved into a show about more than just storytelling: each episode became a snapshot of a young person navigating unique and ever-changing social, political, and personal worlds. Since its debut in 2015, it has featured exclusively young adults from around the world, including New York, Wisconsin, Mississippi, and Belgium. All elements of the episodes are created by young adults: from writers to musicians to visual artists and performers, as well as photographers and filmmakers documenting the production process.
